Events
Wyndham House does not receive ongoing government grants to run our
programs. Wellington County Social Services and various Children's Aid
Societies pay a daily rate for each of their clients who reside in our
program. These rates are augmented by United Way Community Services
of Guelph and Wellington, the Ontario Trillium Foundation and other
grants, leaving approximately one third of our budget to be raised in
the community each year.
In order to meet our fundraising target, the Wyndham House volunteer
Fundraising Committee runs three events each year:
Annual Dream Auction and Gala
A Christmas Carol
Groundhog Day Dance
High School Opportunities
